The Villas in the Vale
Belle Époque residential villas along the Côte d'Eich, built between 1890 and 1910 as Luxembourg expanded beyond its walls. The gardens run to the gorge edge. From street level these houses are invisible behind the trees. Some of them have been photographed from above exactly once.
